建築/都市の2001年の様式を問う、アイデア国際設計競技のために、ここでは、長大な海岸線を占有し人々の生活から、海を遠ざけている臨海工業地帯をテーマにした。建築の空間はそれが以前に工場だったとしても、用途の変更をし法的基準を満たせば、劇場や映画館に生まれ変わることが可能である。とすれば、広大な臨海工業地帯も、そっくり、何かまったく別の21世紀の楽園にすることができるはずである。
